Honor First Ranch
Welcome to Honor First Ranch
Established in 2014, Honor First Ranch got its name as a tribute to Ben's career in federal law enforcement and as a statement for how we do business, with honor and integrity.
We not only carry a lifetime of horsemanship, showing, and training ourselves but boast a family legacy of cutting royalty. Our breeding program was started under the guidance of Michelle's cousins, Punk and Roy Carter. With careers that include training NCHA Futurity champions, serving as NCHA president, inductions into the NCHA and Cowboy hall of fames...do they really need an introduction? Their influence continues to this day.
We have a passion to produce
the finest working cow horses available.
It is our privilege to promote the genetics of today’s leading cutting horses and help them reach their full potential. Our unique program focuses on a select few horses each year, exposing them to all the possibilities on the ranch. In the show pen when you lose a cow you receive a penalty. Out here losing a cow often means a trip to the ER for someone on our crew. Our livelihood depends on our horse's abilities and the relationship we have with them. It is our goal and our passion to produce the finest working cow horses available that not only excel in the show pen but stand up to the rigorous demands of everyday ranch life.
